Our Story

From the founder, Jack Lawrence.

So what’s this all about? For me, it always comes back to people, what moves them, what connects them, and what helps them feel most alive. I’ve followed that thread in different ways throughout my life, and looking back, each chapter has taught me something about what it means to really live.

After finishing a degree in sports, I began working with young autistic adults, supporting them through exercise, nutrition, and everyday wellbeing. I also trained as a personal trainer, helping people reconnect with their bodies and build healthier routines.

Later, I transitioned into People and Culture, where I’ve spent the past decade in recruitment, spotting potential, building teams, and helping people find where they belong. Alongside that, I co-ran an events business, which taught me more about human nature than any job ever could. That blend of structured people work and creative exploration continues to shape everything I do.

But for a while now, something’s been tugging at me.

Not loudly. Not dramatically. Just quietly, like a tension you can’t name, but can’t ignore.

Despite all the noise, the apps, the wellness hacks, the “living your best life” clichés, I couldn’t shake this feeling that we’d lost something. That in a world wired for speed, something deeper was slipping through the cracks.

Yondera was born from that feeling.

From long runs that felt more honest than inboxes.
From silences that said more than meetings.

Born out of honest conversations with friends about burnout, purpose, and craving something that makes us feel truly alive.

This isn’t another brand chasing trends. It’s a space to step away from the rush and back into the now. A journal. A gathering. A love letter to the kind of living that doesn’t fly by.
